I’m a tad behind on reviewing each individual book however I am only on the third book: Harry Potter and the prisoner of azkaban. So I guess I will just do a review after every 2 books of the series.
Anywho I read the first 3 books in 7th grade but that was 13 years ago so in order to finish the series I had to start over which is fine by me because I love to read and Harry Potter is very thrilling.
I think rowling does a great job of drawing the reader in and keeping g them on the edge of their seat. Her writing is creative, fun, engaging, and heartwarming.
Harry has lived with his muggle aunt petunia and uncle Vernon since he was just a baby and his parents were killed by what he believed to be a car accident. However he learns that story is untrue when visited by the Hogwarts gamekeeper Hagrid. His aunt and uncle are very nasty to Harry and treat him worse than a prisoner while pampering their pudgy brat son Dudley.
Harry gets to Hogwarts schoool of witch craft a d wizardry and meets his two best friends Hermione and Ron and his arch enemy Draco Malfoy.
Malfoy is a miserable little snot with evil blood cursing through his spoiler veins.
I just finishes the chamber of secrts which I think really brings out Malfoys true Colors. In sorcerers stone he comes off as a spoiler rich brat (which he is) but by the second book I could really see that he was a bad seed and he discusses briefly about his fathers admiration for Lord Voldemort, the dark wizard who is responsible for the death of Harry’s parents and whom Harry had fought off as a baby and twice while attending hogwarts.
I have really been enjoying the books and so far the series just keeps getting better.
It does! Happy reading!
Thank you. I have barely been able to get anything done Im addicted to it.
